Easter is Sunday, April 9th!
What is Easter? Many people and especially children associate Easter with bunnies, chicks, baskets, and egg hunts. If you head to local stores, as you enter many, you are greeted with a variety of commercialized Easter decor. However, Easter is so much more than that. According to the Readers Digest, Easter is a religious Christian holiday observed around the world to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the spiritual leader of Christianity—and to Christians, the Son of God. So, it's no wonder why Churches celebrate Easter both in Faith and fun.
