Donating makes a big impact on other people's lives.  Whether new or used items are donated, someone in need will benefit.  Simple donations help families get through the day not having to worry about having food on their tables or warm jackets in the winter.  Look around your home and see if there are items that you can donate.  Check your pantries for multiple food items and see what you can spare.  If your able, give a monetary donation to groups and organizations who provide for our local families.

Make sure to involve your kids.  Giving to charity helps your children see the importance of generosity.  Children naturally enjoy helping others.  Encourage and involve them when giving to charity.

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is collecting non-perishable foods to create 200+ food baskets for families in need.  Donations will be accepted Oct. 10th - Dec. 8th.

🎅 25th annual Fontana Santa's Toy Drive

Donations of unwrapped toys and gift cards can be dropped off at the Fontana School Police Department and at All Fontana Unified school campuses.  All donations will go to families in need identified by FUSD school sites on Dec. 17th while they drive thru and enjoy the sights and sounds of cheerful holiday decorations, festively dressed volunteers, and classic holiday music as they receive age-appropriate gifts.

The Olive Branch provides free food and clothes for those in need as well as hosts many events to give back to the community.  Donations are always welcome.  Contact the Olive Branch to see what they are most in need of at this time.

🚓Fontana Police Foundation

While patrolling the streets in Fontana, officers came across a lemonade stand. It was being run by a tough 10 year old girl who is raising money for the Childrens Craniofacial Association. JCSD is proud to partner again this year with the US Marines for the Toys for Tots campaign. Marines, JCSD Staff, and volunteers are hard at work collecting toys, books, and other gifts to distribute to less fortunate children all across Riverside County this holiday season.

📚 Holiday Book Drive

Donate new or gently used children's books for pre-school through 5th grade levels now - Nov. 30th, 2021.  Book donations will be given to the San Bernardino Police Department to pass out while on patrol.

🧸Stuff the Bearcat

The San Bernardino Police is accepting donations of new unwrapped toys.  All donations will go to Salvation Army, Option House, and Children's Plus Foster Family Agency.  Toy drive will take place Dec. 1st.

🧸Holiday Luncheon Toy Drive

The Kiwanis Club of Fontana will be hosting this year’s All Service Clubs Holiday Luncheon and Toy Drive. The event will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Fontana/Rialto Elks Lodge, 1540 W. Rialto Avenue in Rialto.  This event, which is hosted by different organizations every year, is held in order to collect toys which will be given to underprivileged children in Fontana.

Lunch is $20 per person plus an unwrapped toy.  Toys are needed for all ages, even teenagers.

It’s that time of the year to bring blessings to others. Each year Thrive Single Moms helps connect our community with families in need for the holiday season. You can adopt a family and fulfill their wish list. You can select a family size! Drop off your gifts the morning of December 18th and we will distribute them at our Winter Wonderland Party in Redlands.
