I took my kids, ages 3 and 5, on this amazing dinosaur adventure.  We went during the week, about a 45 minute drive from home, and there was no wait outside of the Rose Bowl parking lot.  You could see the huge dinosaurs as soon as you enter, so the excitement began before we even got our tickets scanned.  As you drive through, you have the option to stream an audio tour with your phone by scanning a QR code that they hand you or by going to jurassicquest.com/audiotour.   I recommend you connect it to your car speakers, if possible, or take a bluetooth speaker with you.  The drive from start to finish took us just under 1 hour.

Many of the animatronics move and some have sound.  There is also a volcano that lets out a little smoke every now and then.  Next to each display is a sign with the type of dinosaur along with the pronunciation.  My little one wanted to know EVERY dinosaur type and even with the pronunciation, I am sure I messed up quite a few. Haha  From gigantic dinos that you could only get a full picture of while a little further away, to many small and baby dinos, there was plenty of excitement throughout the tour.  At the end of the tour, you have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs as well as get a Free digital photo taken while in your car to capture your Dino Adventure.  Make sure you get everyone as close to the car windows as possible so they do not get hidden in the background.  Also, if your children are not in their car seats as you drive thru, don't stress on clicking them back in until after the photo.  There was plenty of quick parking near the restrooms where you can easily get everyone strapped back in safely.

As I said earlier, it was about a 45 minute drive from my home to the event so my little ones hadn't got any energy out for almost 2 hours.  So, when I saw the traffic info for the return home trip, approx. 1.5 hours, I decided to go to the park next door and let them run around a bit.  I didn't even want to be in the car for 3.5 hours straight.  There were other families there that had also just finished the tour and a few who went to the park first and were letting the kids run around until their scheduled time.
