Although our southern California winters are not always cold, many of us like to enjoy warm and hot drinks anytime of year. There are many places locally to purchase some of your favorite drinks or you can make and enjoy them right in your own home. Below are some of my families favorites places and drinks to enjoy with the little ones.
Home Sweet Home
What we love: Hot chocolate with a candy cane! My kids love this more than putting marshmallows in it.
Tea! My personal favorite is TAZO refresh mint. Once my kids tasted it, I had to make them their own or my cup would be empty without me having a sip.
For mommy: Peppermint Bark coffee with a candy cane stir or French Vanilla coffee. My kids love the scent but that's as close as they get.
With a little snow fall on Monday, it was another perfect day for a cup of hot chocolate.
STARBUCKS
Various locations in Fontana and Rialto.
What we love: Peppermint hot chocolate and Vanilla Bean Frappuccino for the whole family. My favorites are Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino and Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino.
Our caffeine-free kid friendly to try list include Caramel Apple Spice, which is a steamed apple juice with cinnamon syrup, whipped cream and a caramel sauce, and various flavors of their Steamers.
McDONALDS
Various locations in Fontana and Rialto.
What we love: Hot Chocolate for the kids and a Caramel Mocha or French Vanilla Cappuccino for mommy and daddy. McDonalds is always nice to go to because if you or your family is a little hungry you can buy a meal while your there.
